In general the location was quite nice as it is in the city center close to the main attractions, restaurants etc. However it is next to a bar, which I read in several other reviews. I would not call it a bar it is a night club. I think it is the loudest club in the whole town. On saturday night it was extremly loud. Like camping at a festival next to a loud music box. The other nights were better, but you could still hear the music even with ear plugs. Beside that, the pool area was quite nice! We loved to chill a the pool in the afternoon. Not a lot of hotels have a pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We changed our room as it was very small. Got a better one (number 5).

Great location next to the main plaza. The pool with views over the vulcano was a great addition. A bit noisy at night, so bring earplugs.

I liked the location. My room was really nice. There was a pool, free coffee and water all day . Super friendly staff . Plenty of towels and hot water . I could leave my luggage for a few hours after check out . Slight noise from the bar next door but this was advertised and nothing to complain about. They gave me earplugs .

Great location right in the middle of the town. Wonderful and attentive staff. Great pool. Huge rooms. Lovely touches of authentic fabrics. Beautiful building.

Location is the best thing about the hotel, right in the heart of Antigua. The hotel has great character. The pool was great. The room was clean and comfortable Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
