Villa Al Assala is a fantastic hotel, it was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. The style is beautiful, staff so unbelievably helpful, delicious food and wine, accommodation and surroundings are elegant, we had such an amazing time. Thank you!!

Beautiful small luxury resort just a short drive from the city. In the beautiful neighborhood of Palmeraie, beautiful peaceful place to rest in nature. The rooms all face the gardens, and the interiors are very tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly and professional and breakfast is delicious .

Everything. Superb staff - enthusiastic, attentive but not intrusive. Fabulous building. Good food & wine. Beautiful pool & restaurant. Grounds are amazing too, with some striking sculptures. When you first arrive and are welcomed with tea by the pool, it is a genuine "wow" moment. So good.

The ambiance of the small hotel was very relaxing, the staff where exceptional, very friendly and efficient. Our room, number 9 was on the first floor so had a small but useable balcony with a table and two chairs. The balcony got the afternoon sun, full on, from around 3pm until sunset. The rooms are all in one block, all looked to be the same size , configuration, they are a good size, with a great shower, two sinks and a separate toilet. The hotel pool is wonderful, big enough to have a swim, very clean, kept to an ambient temperature, so no shocks when you get in !! Plenty of clean, fresh towels always available and they added a lovely touch of straw hats on each sunbed. Breakfast and our evening meals were served out doors under cover in a shady 'tent' like structure with open sides, very nice. The food was very good, the breakfast was the same every day so got a little repetitive. a selection of three different breads, preserves, yoghurt and fresh fruit, cake and a choice of eggs cooked to order. ample enough but limited in choice.(the resident Cats were lovely and always made you welcome for breakfast and dinner, the younger one is a beautiful colour) The evening food, again limited in choice was fantastic, the steaks were great. We really enjoyed the Moroccan wine. I would recommend the Villa Al Assala for relaxed, comfortable stay. If you want to fly and flop for a week you will enjoy this place and if you want to combine sightseeing as well then it is also a great place, although there is nothing within walking distance, so taxi's are essential, the villa will arrange these and they are very efficient and polite.
