I felt like I had stepped into a warm embrace, finding myself at home in a place I had never been before. I met new faces that quickly became familiar, with every staff member shining like a lighthouse, guiding me with kindness and politeness. Especially Ebrar, who was like the gentle breeze that brought all the comfort I needed, making my stay at the hostel feel like a serene harbor. And to the cleaning staff, who were like invisible hands working tirelessly, weaving a tapestry of cleanliness that made the hostel sparkle – to them, I offer my deepest gratitude. There is so much more than meets the eye, a city with secrets whispered in alleyways and treasures tucked in corners unknown. All it takes is to have the eyes to unlock its mysteries, to see beyond the surface and discover the soul of this enchanting place.

Just in the city center, lots of restaurants in 3 mins walk. Can walk from metro in 10 mins

The Kocatepe Mosque is just around the corner. The hostel is easy to find with the signature pink car table in front of the hostel. Fully equipped kitchen is open to be used. Some cute cats wandering within. The rooms and washroom are clean too.

The room was super clean, sheets were spotless. We booked a room with twin beds and I barely slept the first night because it was crazy hot in the room and there was no fan or airconditioning. When asking for a fan, the first receptionist dismissed us and talked about a shortage of power and said 'maybe tommorow', which I still doubt whether that is true. I woke up in the middle of the night because of the heat, even with the window open the entire night. Luckily for us, Baris, our new receptionist the next morning helped us out straight away. A wall fan got hung that same day by the handyman and we slept like a baby the second night. I would recommend checking/suggesting a fan, since not all rooms have it. Baris also helped us calling the hammam (they did not speak any English) and translating. We went to Tarihi Şengül Hamamı and it was great because Baris could ask every question we had before we went there.

My room type is the single bed with bathroom. The room is clean and big. Though it takes about 15-20mins walk from metro, it is all fine to me. Lot of restaurants around that you can get your meal easily ! And the staff is friendly and helpful :)
