The breakfast was delicious, with good company, and the house/room were lovely. We enjoyed a walk around the garden in the morning too!

I spent 20 days in the Azores. but the best came at the end. I was allowed to spend 3 nights at Quinta do Espirito Santa with Lucilia and Francisco Maduro slides. I was allowed to spend my stay in a beautiful outbuilding of the Quinta. The house and the rooms in it are lovingly furnished. You are transported to another distant time. But the two hosts are definitely the highlight. I have never experienced such warm hosts. A hearty breakfast with many local specialties was served in the main building. The two gentlemen had a lot to tell and gave me an old insight into life on the Azorn and Terceira. We especially liked the conversations with Francisco. I was able to take away and learn a lot from his knowledge as a history professor. I highly recommend Quinta do Espirito Santo as a place to stay. The hosts receive 1000 points from me. Francisco and Lucília are so warm and welcoming and ready to share their love and knowledge of Terceira with their guests. Breakfast with them every morning was such a pleasure: always an amazing array of cheeses from the Azores and Lucília's fresh cakes were so delicious!

Very pleasant stay in an authentic quinta with beautiful garden and two cats. Delicious breakfast together with the owners, who are happy to share their excellent knowledge of the island with their guests.
