Amazing peaceful historical hanok stay, we loved our two night stay at Okyeon Pavillion. The Korean breakfast was delicious and was a great start to the day. Seunghwan was a lovely host and was very accommodating. Highly recommend staying here when in Andong to experience a piece of history.

Okyeon Jeongsa was truly a treasure. My friend and I sought a quiet retreat to celebrate this New Year, and the Hanok exceeded our expectations! The scenery is truly beautiful, and I can understand why the first Ryu built the place as his get away. Seeing the stars at night and the sun over the Nakdong River is truly a sight~ The beds were very comfortable and despite being winter, we were never cold in the room. The staff were more than accommodating, even giving us a ride to the nearby folk village and back when we asked :) They also gave us a free upgrade to the bigger room for our last day! The breakfast was delicious too: fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere! I hope my friend and I can return for the fall season 🙏🏼 Thank you for making our stay a memorable one ♥️

A lifetime opportunity to stay in an authentic Hanok pavilion with hundreds of years of history. Really unique. The setting under the cliffs and across the river from the Hanoe village provides a peaceful, almost spiritual setting to stay a night or 2, in a historic setting. The experience is something a modern hotel could never ever match.

The location of the resort was a little remote and not so easy to get to unless you drive or have a special limousine/taxi to take you there.

Absolutely stunning place if you want to sleep in a historical Korean house. From the communication, to the pickup and drop off over the vegetarian breakfast cooked by the grandmother and served on a traditional low table and the nice hand made rice wine as a gift. Thanks for the lovely stay!
