The hotel is in a great location for walking and exploring the city! The room is clean and enough room, shower hot and there was a kettle and fridge - basic but more than enough for somewhere to lay head! I’d recommend the hotel for a cheap city stay with friends when you plan to be out about most of the time.

stayed second time, just different room, so nothing which could surprise me. size of the room is fine for central Amsterdam, some noise is acceptable due to central location and many bars/coffeshops around.

The hotel is in an excellent location as it is an easy walk to many of the sights of Amsterdam. There are many wonderful restaurants and eateries very close to the hotel with convenience stores close by too.

The location of the property. Its within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions. The staff are really friendly, helpful and engaging. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable

Location was excellent walking distance to all we wanted to see and experience over the few days we were there and value for money. Room was comfortable but very tiny.

Some comment the rooms are small, but we found them fine. Also you tend to spend more of your time outside. The bed was comfortable, A/C and wifi were very good. Bathroom was fine. It felt more noise proof than other hotels. We were on the top floor. We really liked it. The location I feel is better than being near central station. Amstel is a very good location. We got the metro train from central station to waterlooplein and walked from there. Very easy.
