The staff and vibe of the hotel was fantastic. The view from our room was amazing - right on the water. Mickey the cat was so sweet as well!

Love the old quarter me and my partner have stayed before it’s the perfect location but this time I was little disappointed I payed almost double for a smaller room and no view I understand this is due to the time of year but the room was to small to function as a room.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews of this hotel, but they seem unfair. If you want a smart hotel in a central location, be prepared to pay a lot more. This is a pub hotel that's popular with younger budget travellers, some of whom can be a bit noisy. My room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. If anyone was loud, I just put my earplugs in, but most of the time it was quiet. This hotel may be more suited to younger guests, but I'm 60 and I was perfectly happy with it as a relatively cheap option in a place full of expensive hotels.
