A wonderful stay at an unbeatable location and with an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The charming historical building captures the essence of old Amsterdam, resembling the iconic houses seen on postcards. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Location: It is easy to walk or take the tram to the central station and the city centre, where the shops are. There was no breakfast available at the hotel, but this was not a problem as there are many good places to eat nearby.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, offering a beautiful view that added to the overall experience. The hotel's rich history and unique character made it truly special, while the spacious room provided both comfort and relaxation.

Hotel Amstelzicht is a very old Dutch house and has the traditional staircase. To modern eyes the staircase is steep like a ladder. This adds to the charm of staying here. The staff are super friendly and helpful and have good advice. Due to the steepness of the stairs we were asked if we preferred ground floor or top floor - up 3 flights and we chose top floor. The room was a very spacious attic room with 3 lovely big double glazed windows facing Amstel canal. Great views and no noise. One window could be opened. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We loved staying in an authentic place and so centrally located. The bed was comfortable and the whole experience was very positive.

Location was perfect. Shops, restaurants and night life few minutes away. The triple room was spacious with a nice view over the river. The room looked the same as on the pictures.

Beautiful building, real traditional Amsterdam city house, beautiful top floor room with old beams and a great view of the canal from my room. Great shower and comfortable bed, minimal outside Noise because it is not a busy street. 10 minutes walk from the bustling nightlife of De Wallen. It was a great location, lovely, clean building and honestly a great value for money stay
