As a family of 5, a hotel room is just not right for us. The Frankendael Apartment was the perfect accommodation for our family city break, giving us enough space for the whole family and the option to eat some self-catered simple meals. The location was great, we travelled around the city by tram which stops just down the road. We had lovely local meals out at Elsa’s Cafe and Restaurant 1900, both of which we would thoroughly recommend. The staff at Frankendael were always friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and local tips.

The apartment was clean and all that we needed for a 3 night stay, the lady who checked us in was friendly and offered us guidance on the trams and on how to use everything in the apartment- super accommodating!

Perfect location to reach any part of town - the outskirts or the city centre. The closest park was across the street. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The bus stop was also a minute away from the doorstep. The balcony was very spacious. The apartment was well-equipped with anything that one might require. The hosts were amiable and welcoming. The entire apartment was very spacious, modern, and homely.

The location is great. You can reach the center by bike or by tram (19). The balcony overlooking the garden is magnificent... little sun and only birds singing. The reception was ready to satisfy our every request
