Hotel Overview

Situated in the heart of the city centre, Eden Hotel Amsterdam offers warm-coloured rooms and free WiFi. The famous Rembrandt Square is right around the corner. The central station is 10 minutes away by tram.
Starting from 1977, the hotel has been expanding its buildings one at a time and connecting them together, hence the maze of corridors to each room and not one room being the same as the other. Some rooms overlook the characteristic canals, lift-up bridges and passing boats. The private bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries. A flat-screen TV is available.
City exploration starts right on the hotel’s doorstep, since a ticket service is offered. Within 20 minutes walking distance, one will reach the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. The Jewish Historical Museum is 400 metres away.
A concierge will give guests a warm welcome. The concierge will be glad to help you with rental bikes and find your way around the city. Schiphol Airport is 22 km away.

This was a good hotel in a convenient location for anyone interested in being based in central Amsterdam. The hotel itself is large and has a huge amount of facilities for guests to use -- a bar, a convenience store, pool tables, etc. All of these are clean and well-staffed. We also loved that we were given vouchers for a free drink each at the bar, as well as vouchers for a free canal boat ride, which were great perks. The bathroom was the highlight of the room: it was so spacious, had heated floors and a very big bathtub. The toilet is in a separate room as well which is great.
