The location is great, right next to the Heineken brewery and next to a metro station which is a 10 minute ride to Centraal station. I booked this months ago and was really worried about staying after recent poor reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I stayed with my 13 and 15 year old sons in a triple room. It's a budget hotel, room was basic but clean as was bathroom. Excellent shower with lots of hot water and toiletries. The stairs are insanely steep (as in the rest of Amsterdan!) But there is a lift. Staff were friendly. We didn't eat there as had lots of other places we wanted to try.

Location was great, it’s near to the centre and to all sights you want to visit. In the Heineken Experience there is a parking you get a discount of 60%.

They let me do early check-in for an hour. The sun was covered all over my bed, the window sill wood, curtains were and old school, wasn't worked properly. But I needed to sleep and they changed my room. Elevators are old but at least there was an elevator since it was old building.

Close to city centre. The surrounding area is nice, many shops and restaurants and pubs nearby. Room was clean and quiet. Stuff was friendly. There are many bad reviews but I can say in my case everything was perfectly well about this hotel stay!
