Marc was a superb host, highly attentive and engaging. He even arranged a bottle of wine for us on the porch which was very kind. The room was spacious and clean and the location was great.

Firstly greeted very warmly by host ...Marc. Marc could not have been more generous with his care for us. He kind and very helpful with details of HIS city. Our accommodation was very comfortable, had everything possible to make our stay happy and successful. AND the bed!! After a busy, busy day flying into Amsterdam Empiric was so easy and convenient to get to from airport. And from there city only an enjoyable and entertaining twenty-four min walk to centre and many other activities.

Location was excellent and walking distance to everything. Room was very spacious and loved having use of the garden. The host was very friendly and provided us with great restaurant suggestions.

Had an amazing stay at Marc's place which is full of history. Loved the huge private garden with the table and candles- perfect for romantic dinner or drink. Marc is an excellent host and provided us with some ice and water. The location is perfect. Would happily return.

I loved anything, the room, the position; far from the crowd, but in the center of the city. A very quite and comfortable place with a very nice garden.

We enjoyed our 4-nights-stay at Empiric and we recommend this apartment: it is very close to the city center, Marc (the owner) was extremely helpful with us and the room was clean. The garden next to the room is definitely a "plus".
