Boats Overview

The boat hostel AmicitiA is located in the city centre of Amsterdam right in front of NEMO, just 1 km from Central Station. It features a bar, and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Shower, communal area and location! I recommend bring a flip flop for the shower and keep one roll of toallet paper.

Location was easy to find, not too far from Amsterdam Centraal. We only needed 1 night in the city due to a layover, so this was a nice cheap option. Facilities were of a good standard, shower good although toilet very cramped for people of our height.

We loved our stay in the boat. The rooms are small yet comfortable and the common space is clean and really cosy. The breakfast was tasty and various. Plus Patrick is an amazing guy !

Just okay for a one-night stay. Breakfast was basic but okay for the price. The room is small, as shown in the picture. The entire boat and room were warm.

The location is perfect. Close to the train station and the city center. It’s a new experience to sleep in a boat. I liked it. The staff was friendly and they accepted to store our luggage while waiting for the check in time.

This was an amazing stay. Really close to central station and easy to find. A good experience for friends or solo travellers. The breakfast was really mice with multiple choices.

I did not expect much from the staying on a boat - tiny rooms, shared (and even tinier) facilities. However, everything was clean, and breakfast was surprisingly good.

I really like it, but please consider the cabins are small, acoustic separation is not really there, , the stair is steep, shared toilet and shower. The interior does show signs of wear and tear.If you can live with this, you will be rewarded by the cozy salon with incredible view, solid breakfast (OK, not Michelin-classed ;) and a boat with lots of character
