Madpackers was an awesome stay for Amritsar. The staff were very kind and helpful - they rectified a booking error I had made with no qualms or any fuss. They also helped me painlessly organise a border tour and taxi to Dharamshala - both of which were very reasonably priced. The room and washroom were spacious, with a warm shower and cold room. It had nice fittings which made it feel homely and the rooftop was epic. Special shoutout to the rooftop chef - who made a killer bhurji and never let his job get in the way of a good night, I appreciate you showing us around town!

Exceptional hostel, best I've stayed in, in India. It's clean and comfortable, has hot showers, an amazing communal space with movie projector, charging points, good WiFi and the hostel is within walking distance of the Golden Temple. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe. The best part about Madpackers is the staff and owner who are so helpful and friendly, always going over and above to give you a comfortable and happy stay. The hostel also offers tours at very reasonable prices, an opportunity you shouldn't miss. Vicky the tour guide will have you laughing throughout. There's no tour quite like a Vicky tour. I love this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat

Amazing. welcoming. staff is super helpful. nice location to explore Amritsar as most of the attractions are in walking distance. You should book their border tour, it's a great experience.

Lots of organised activities. It is very easy to meet other travellers. Communal areas had lots of activities and easy to chill out when required. A great border trip with their tuktuk guy

Fantastic location with only a 10min walk to the golden temple. Comfy and clean rooms with curtains, outlets and lights by each bed. Big lockers in the room that fit all my luggage! The staff is so helpful and kind. Had a lovely stay!

The staff were incredibly friendly and we had a great stay. The hostel was very sociable and we loved it. Food was great, and the seating area on the roof and common room were great too. We did the wagah border tour which was great fun! Our tour guide Vicki was great, would recommend :)
