Where to start!?!? From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and the tone was set for the rest of our time at Ikaros. The staff are unbeatable in their attentiveness and sincere desire to ensure you enjoy your stay. The food, from breakfast to dinner is exceptional, as are the drinks poured by an experienced bar tender, who makes the best cocktails we had in Crete! The room was spacious and comfortable. We really couldn’t have asked for better!

The room is nicely decorated with modern facilities. The staff are really friendly. The in-house restaurant is pretty good. We live in the penthouse and there are two balconies facing different directions. Although the views are not spectacular, from both you can see the sea. The beach is like 3 minutes walking and good enough for sun bathing or swimming. The place is quiet enough for a good sleep. The mattress is very comfortable as it is not too soft.

great suite that has a sea view, lovely breakfast with variable greek pastries and fresh fruit. the hotel bar and pool is chilled, and only 2 min walk to the beach.

Everything about this Hotel is excellent. Rooms are large and kept very clean on a daily basis. It is a Family run Hotel with lovely staff and owners. You can also get discount on car hire from hub cars who deliver a great service at a very competitive rate.

Relaxing boutique pool, bar and dining area. Spacious, extremely comfortable and well designed suite. Accommodating friendly staff. Great margaritas! Nearby sandy beach in walking distance with lovely alternative restaurants and clear water.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed—no small feat, as the owner personally greets every guest entering the establishment. Originally, our plan was to explore Heraklion and spend time at the nearby beach, but the hotel made us feel so at home that we ended up spending our last 48 hours between the hotel's creative cretan cuisine restaurant (Murelo), the bar, the peaceful pool, and our room. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. From Katarina and Marina at the reception to Maria, Nicos, and Dimitris in the restaurant, everyone made sure we were well looked after, even preparing an early breakfast for our super early check-out. The rooms were tastefully decorated, blending style and practicality seamlessly. The hotel has immense potential, boasting a private parking lot and a boutique featuring jewelry handcrafted by Marina herself!

It's a boutique hotel in a great location—just 200 meters from the sea, with majestic mountains visible across the way. There's a small shop and a bus stop quite nearby. The interior design of the restaurant, and the room (I had the biggest one with sea view and two terraces) make a huge impression. It’s really stunning, with a boho style, and very clean. I loved my room and would definately come back just to experience this view and vibe one more time. Bartenders are very professional and nice, also the lady who I guess is the owner - extremely nice and helpful.
