I was pleasantly surprised by the Dinorben Arms hotel in Amlwch. It's a small town, so I wasn't expecting the hotel to be as good as it was. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower had hot water at all times. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Wifi was good.

We had a lovely weekend at this part of Anglesey. We were warmly welcoming with a few jokes by the staff member.Our room was very warm and comfortable (we were glad to have a fan, as it was a bit too hot for our liking). Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was tasty. We enjoyed our talks before breakfast. It is less touristy site of Anglesey, and we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely go back. We tried evening food, and it was tasty, plus for us was non alcoholic Guinness (we don't drink, but we do like from time to time non alcoholic substitute). The owner seems very chatty and doing really well to keep this lovely hotel going. There was a bit of confusion about car park, it is opposite car garage, at the back entrance to the hotel(what's not looking like hotel from back, and sign show some function rooms, so it can be misleading -accidentaly tho). Hotel have great history, and area have history of mining We did love a few hours at the copper mine side.
