The family owning the homestay was lovely and so helpful. We had some great conversations and the family drove us everywhere around the area!

I had a quiet upstairs room facing towards the road with a view of the trees and Mt Agung from the end. It was spacious with a comfortable bed and a porch with sofa for relaxing. Breakfast was good and served in an inside café which meant there wasn't a problem with flies. Juliani and Norman were most helpful and kind and Norman gave me a lift on his scooter to Lipah Beach and collected me at the end of the day and at the end of my 4 days stay he took me in his car to my next homestay and to the water palace en route - all for a very good price. I very much enjoyed my time at Tanaya Homestay - thank you.

A great place to stay in Amed, it's a few minutes walk from the main area. The rooms are big, with comfortable beds and good AC. The owners/staff are unbelievably friendly and go above and beyond to be accommodating! Can't recommend it enough.

The highlight was meeting and talking with the host, Juliani. What a wonderfully generous and kind soul. She has lots of energy and works super hard at making sure her guests are happy and cared for. She helped me organise transport and a visit to nearby attractions and took me on her scooter to to the waterfront to save me walking. It wasn’t very far, but it was too hot to comfortably walk. The little homestay is extremely good value, clean and comfortable and the price includes breakfast, served in their cafe at the front. All her staff are helpful and kind. I stayed in one of the front rooms overlooking the courtyard and it was fine. Not too much road noise. If I stayed again, I’d ask for a room at the back overlooking the fields.

The family who run the Homestay were so friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was basic but everything you need and very clean. Location was about a 10 minute walk into the heart of Amed however the family also offer scooter rental at an affordable price.
