Falling asleep with the sound of crashing waves, and having the amazing view from the balcony, was pretty awesome! Oh, and the cave with a waterfall in our room (yes, you read that right) was both weird and awesome at the same time!

We can totally recommend this beautiful authentic accommodation right on the beach with plenty of privacy and a very pleasant atmosphere. From the bed on your own terrace you can look out over the ocean and listen to the waves. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Despite our very late arrival at 1 AM we were received very warmly. And special thanks to Putu for his exemplary care for us throughout our stay! The underwater world here is beautiful, the corals start just off shore. The Japanese wreck dive attraction can be reached by swimming from the beach. We were even lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins during our dinner on the terrace at the restaurant. The meals were fresh and delicious and prepared with love. Thank you!!!

I keep coming back to Stairway because of the proximity to sea, being able to just roll out of bed to a snorkel on majestic reefs is unbeatable. But I also don't really want to tell anyone about it because it's so good... So, appreciate it.

We like the sea view from our room located less than 20 metres from the sea. Easy access to the beautiful coral immediately you enter the water. Lots of fish life. Japanese Shipwreck dive site alongside the adjoining beach is a delight. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The restaurant has a beautiful outlook across the bay and the food selection is good.

Very nicely located in the more quite part of Amed. The property is lying directly at the ocean with access to a beautiful and calm beach. The bigger bungalow we had chosen had a meditation room which was nicely decorated. It was calm and the view from the bungalow exceptionally beautiful. In the morning you could see the sunrise and the early fishermen leaving in theirs colorful boats

We had a lovely time at Staiways to Heaven Bungalows. Just like the name suggests it felt like a piece of paradise. The bungalow was large and clean right next to a lovely and secluded beach. The view on the sea from the room was just fantastic and we could hear the sound of the waves which was incredible. There was a large choice for breakfast and it was delicious. The restaurant also served delicious dishes for lunch and dinner. The staff was incredibly kind going out of their way to make our stay unforgettable.

The villas have a beautiful view of the ocean from bed, or the comfy chairs and day bed outside your front door. A few short steps onto the garden below and you have some sunbeds that you can either pull out into the full sun, or hide under the shade of some trees. The beach feels private as each of the accommodations along the beach only have a handful of rooms. Breakfast was reasonable for level of accommodation, and the food was great during the day. Loved the seafood curry. There is a cheap little warung and a fancy Italian restaurant within walking distance. And the reef off of the beach was vibrant and healthy. A 10-15 minute swim (depending on current) gets you to the small Japanese wreck, or you can walk across a path on the beachfront and sim in to find it 20 meters off shore. Only a 15 minute drive into sunset point and the surrounding bars and restaurants. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
