The lodge is very beautiful and clean. The location is perfect with a nice view over Kilimanjaro. The food was very good as well.

Excellent and very comfortable lodge, beautiful location surrounded by nature, outstanding services and super friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the lodge without any reservation and would be more than happy to stay there again!

I have awful eating requirements and the chef didn't bat an eyelid he produced a fantastic meal for me, I was so grateful to have something so delicious without any fuss, thank you. Then we had an issue with the booking and the reception sorted it out very very politely and with grace so thank you. I can't believe the attention given to us by the staff who escorted us to the rooms and then were there waiting when we needed to leave early, our bill was waiting and ready with no delays - all so very efficient and very nice. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. We will be back

The location is good with a nice view of Kilimanjaro when it decides to show its top. 20min from the park entrance. The facilities were clean and comfortable. But the greatest thing is the restaurant right at the edge of the park which makes it possible to spend the whole day in the park without losing a lot of time going back and forth to have lunch. All the staff were very nice

The place is very beautiful and staff is very friendly. We got all meals included and the food was very good. The hotel is just outside the park entrance, which was fantastic as we saw giraffes next to the road on the way. They have a place inside the safari to get lunch.

Everything was incredible. The lodge represents the perfect combination of nature and comfort and is no doubt an amazing place to relax, which was my main goal. I loved the trees, the stone pathways woven between them and protected by shadow, the monkeys and other animals that walked by. I loved how spacious the tukul was and how the decoration fit into the surroundings so perfectly. It's great to rest in between game drives or even for longer periods, as was my case. I enjoyed some time in the pool, walking the grounds and stargazing by the firepit at night. The staff was incredibly welcoming but still respectful of my space and privacy. They always asked how the day went, always were available to help in any way and even made me a cake to say goodbye on my last night. To be honest, even after seeing the lodges inside the Amboseli park (which no doubt can be more convenient for game drives), I felt that Amboseli Sopa Lodge fit me much better. I could not recommend it enough and I hope I get to return at some point with family or friends.
