The Villa Roma is in the very heart of old town Amboise, right on the promenade, so the location could not be better. It is an Italian restaurant with few rooms in the back. Our room was spacious with fridge inside. Bed comfortable, all was very clean. Bathroom was small but clean and with all ammenities we needed. They have space for bicycles inside, under the roof, which is great for Loire cycling.

Lovely big room Great view to ancient town and chateau with large windows that opened Bike storage in same building Good breakfast. Excellent yoghurt 😋 Staff great and early checkin was possible 1-3 👍 Just in time for delicious lunch

When we arrived we didn’t get a friendly greeting she seemed fed up that we had arrived , but as she showed us around she was friendlier and helpful showing us everything in the room , it was right in the centre on a lovely street . Very olde worlde building . Spacious room with sink fridge and microwave .

Fabulous location overlooking main plaza and chateau, very clean and comfortable room . Friendly and welcoming hostess. Good bike storage.
