Checking in was OK as we were too late for reception but we managed to find the 'house' that was to be our home for 10 days or so. On arrival we found that our room was an upper floor apartment and I have difficulty climbing stairs. However we managed and contacted reception next morning who arranged to move us to lower floor. As I had coped the previous night we decided to stay where we were but staff advised we could change if it became too much, Having a balcony was fantastic for watching the sun go down at night. It was close enough to local facilities for groceries and sightseeing trips with the Mini Chateaux on the doorstep.

The studio was light and airy. Parking was great. It was a nice quiet restful site just out of town.

This is a holiday home facility made up of 60 building with up to 8 apartments per building. We had a very comfortable studio divided into a dining, lounge (with sofa) and sleeping areas. The apartments are self-catering with cooking facilities, a coffee maker, and a tea kettle, so it's possible to bring supplies to make your own breakfast and dinner if you don't feel like going out. Bring your own washing up equipment. The location is a bit out of town, so guests really do need a car. The facility is in quick (12 minutes or less) driving distance of Chateau Clos Lusé, Chateau d'Ambroise, and Chenonceau. Although the property is large, it was very quiet. There is a lot of grassy areas for children to play, along with a bounce castle and a small pool.
