The location was an easy walk into town, and Christophe was a very welcoming host. The breakfast was abundant and delicious - the best croissants we’ve had in France yet!

The property was lovely, we loved our room and our beds were so cosy and comfortable. We had an amazing stay. Our hosts were so lovely and caring, it is obvious they truly enjoy what they are doing. Our breakfast was delicious too.

Owners were friendly and helpful and very kind. Generous breakfast laid out each morning. Great location - beautiful walk over the bridge to get into central Amboise.

I liked the location of the guest house, it has a nice little French patio. 15 minutes walk from the castle. Comfortable room, fine quality linen, closed parking in the courtyard. Good breakfast. Fast communication with the owner Christophe who was very flexible about our early check-in. I can highly recommend.

Everything. Christophe and Lydia were fantastic hosts. If you are looking for a local hostelry in Amboise look no further. Beautiful character property within easy walking distance of Train Station and all the attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property a short walk into the old town & castle etc. very secure parking. Room was spacious & well equipped. Host was very welcoming.
