This was our 3rd stay at Le Clos D'Amboise, we usually come to Amboise every December and love this elegant hotel and fantastic location within easy walking distance to the town centre and attractions.

Great location in the center of Amboise. Big and comfortable room, good wifi and safe. Very nice hotel, with lots of green space. Disliked · Efficient staff, but advised Chenanceau and Chambord castles were open. Chenanceau was open, but Chambord closed for renovations. Travel and lost day. Large bathroom but there is no shower door and it is difficult to take a shower without wetting the floor. Good hotel, but they could provide correct information about the main attractions in the area.

Perfectly situated and with parking . Dog friendly too which for us was a bonus . Very comfortable bed and our room had a beautiful view to the Chateaux . The restaurant was fabulous . Exceptional service , wonderful menu and our choices were perfect . Could not fault anything at all with our meal or service .

The setting, hotel, facilities and staff are delightful. Staff are so helpful and make you feel you are staying at a very nice house as a guest rather than a hotel. The food in the restaurant is also delicious and good value for money for a fine dining experience. We would definitely come back.

Liked the Hotel and location. The ambience and peace but so close to the town. The breakfast was a good choice. The ground floor room was just about accessible but not with a shower to use, however for one night it was all good.
