There could have been a few more toilets. Beds were surprisingly comfy. The kitchen and drying rooms were good and plentiful. Missing a can-opener though.

Great location, service, clean rooms and friendly guests as always. Love staying at the YHA. Superbly looked after by Alex at Ambleside YHA. Absolute legend. Breakfast was lovely.

Good to be right in the heart of the Lakes, made it easier to get up to Grasmere by bus earlyish, after rushing there the night before. Could do with a youth hostel established in the Lancashire county. One in Liverpool by the docks is also convenient why not have one in Whitehaven or near Garstang?
