Steve and Tina were very welcoming hosts. I booked Premier Room 5 which had windows to the side of the property. The room was very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a shower and bath and was bright and clean. The pre-ordered breakfast was perfectly cooked and served in a wonderfully spacious room with high ceiling. Location of this B&B was on the edge of Ambleside with an easy walk into the town. Limited car parking is available at the property, but if that's full, a pass for the car park less than 50 metres away is available.

Staff were very friendly and made the effort to be welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts were delicious and the decor of both the bedroom and breakfast room were lovely. (At breakfast all the windows had been painted with a winter landscape scene-lots of effort was put in)

Great single rooms (and friend and I were walking and looking for two single rooms rather than a twin) - and only a fraction more expensive than a twin (that wouldn't have suited us so well) Rooms were spotless and both had en-suite bathrooms (with a shower) Staff were friendly and helpful - and we used the parking ticket they offered to park for free in a car park very close to the B&B (since it has limited parked on site) Breakfast was great (I had vegan, my companion had traditional English) Location was perfect - just a short walk to the centre of town

We would highly recommend Wanstead guesthouse, , fantastic breakfast, friendly and homely, rooms spotless with a very comfortable bed. Ideal location to walk 5 mins into town or 5 mins other direction to the lake .

very clean and tidy had deluxe room big 50 inch tv on wall nice breakfast don't expect massive amounts just enough would go again just not in the deluxe room get a cheaper room very nice host really down to earth and got to mention charlie there dog looks like a little lamb 😀 great stay thanks from dean and sharon from leeds up the whites
