Lovely traditional Lakeland stone building, warm spacious interior with good facilities for hikers with drying room,good breakfast menu with good English breakfast cooked to order and served to table! On the south side of centre next to parks,only a stroll away from restaurants,pubs and shops.

Short stay at the gables perfect for are needs perfect for parking but not always guaranteed. easy to travel to nice property and help-full staff to Pancho and family and staff I wish them all the good look merry Christmas we will see you again .

It was super comfortable and the location perfect for all our needs. The Chef cooked an amazing breakfast; I’m a vegetarian and my wife a “tradition full English”. You must try the scrambled eggs in toast ! The team are absolutely delightful and help us with our travel plans around the Lakes.

Grea location 2 minutes walk from the centre of Ambleside, friendly staff, warm and comfortable room with ensuite shower and WC. Good breakfast choices. Drying room for wet gear. Free parking spaces on site.
