Rothay House is a guest house, set just off the main road and a 5-minute walk from Ambleside town centre. Only 1 mile from Lake Windermere, it serves local produce and homemade jams and marmalades for breakfast. Just 10 minutes drive from Windermere and the World of Beatrix Potter, this guest accommodation offers rooms with a private bathroom.
The cosy individually decorated rooms offer a TV with a DVD player, a hairdryer, a selection of Pure Lakes toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the traditional dining room, which overlooks Rothay House's garden from the first floor. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout.
Scenic walks can be enjoyed in the countryside surronding Rothay House. Ambleside town centre, with its shops, bars and restaurants can be reached after a 5-minute walk. Overlooking the front garden, towards Loughrigg Fell, this room has a 32-inch TV, USB charging points and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a private en-suite bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The room has 1 double bed and 2 single beds and can accommodate 2 extra guests. No children under 5 years old can be accommodated.
