The staff were very friendly, courteous and professional. The location is excellent, our room was lovely and the whole place was very clean. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of high quality food options. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend the Rothay Garth hotel.

Great location, great greeting, and informative dialogue. Site didn't clarify dog prices on booking.com, £25 per night. Needs to be clarified when comparing prices through trivago. Excellent stay, breakfast great, staff very attentive. Joanna the owner was brilliant, made to feel like home . Will definitely be back.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It was only a five minute walk into ambleside and all it's amenities, and the fact there was onsite parking at Rothay Garth made everything so easy.

The team here were fantastic and did what they could to make our stay more comfortable. The room was warm and bed comfy.
