The building, staff, décor and views are outstanding! The building itself is an architectural marvel, beautifully designed and decorated. Our room was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the meticulous attention to detail and quality of the bedding. The food (Dinner & Breakfast) is decadent, well presented, tasteful and made with care, the delivery for our New Year's Eve tasting experience was certainly the best we have experienced. Thank you for making it so special! Every part of the facility is top-notch, and the service provided by the attentive staff was both warm and professional. Tom and his team strike the perfect balance of being present and helpful without ever feeling intrusive. It's very clear the team work extremely hard, long hours but yet, still manage to remain up beat and welcoming. Their hospitality adds to the overall charm of the experience. A truly wonderful stay! Looking forward to visiting again when the spa is complete!

We chose this hotel as it was close to a wedding we were attending in Windermere. And we weren't disappointed. Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Unexpected upgrade ( bonus), so we had a lake view. Tom greeted us on arrival, and he was very knowledgeable about the hotel. The room was very spacious, and the large comfy bed ensured we had a great nights sleep. The room was well equipped, with tea, coffee, facilities, a powerful hairdryer, an ironing board, a safe, bathrobes, etc Breakfast was tasty and ample portion sizes. With a good selection of choice to suit all. We would definitely return.

Location although the road was noted as closed and caused an unneeded detour of at least 30 minutes that with a little bit of thought for customers could have been avoided by a small sign noting access still available to the hotel...
