Absolutely fantastic stay for our family of 13. Central location with shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, mini golf and childrens play area all just minutes walk away. On site parking which we found to be a huge bonus in a village where parking can be difficult due its popularity. Clean, beautifully presented and spacious with multiple common areas, well equipped kitchen and a multitude of bedrooms (most with ensuite facilities). Cannot recommend highly enough. Already planning our next visit. Not to be missed.

My family and I stayed here and the house is big enough so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Location is amazing. House is very cosy and clean. We all really enjoyed our stay. Also, I left some belongings at the house and they were amazing with arranging the logistics of returning it to me. Thank you!

Beautiful House with a lot of reception rooms and bathrooms which was ideal for a large group of people. Beds are very comfortable and all the rooms are decorated nicely.

The staff were really accommodating, and the Lodge itself was beautiful. The location of the lodge in Ambleside was brilliant, and the car parking spaces made it really accessible for us.

Location is fantastic as a base to explore Ambleside and the surrounding area. The hosts have thought of everything, so much storage, fridge space, crockery and space for all 14 of us. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Seating all of us around a dining table was something we weren’t necessarily expecting to be able to do. All of us thought the beds were exceptionally comfortable and given the number of us and the amount of bathrooms, there were no issues with the shower power or heat. Really couldn’t rate this property high enough, the correspondence from the hosts from start to finish has been so friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Communication with owner excellent and we were able to collect keys easily from a lockbox. We were a family of 14, one from Aus. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable and allowed everyone a bit of privacy. Location was fantastic, near to restaurants bars shops and lakes and walks on our doorstep.
