Absolutely spot on! Very good location. In walking distance to Ambleside and Windermere. Beautiful grounds and super clean rooms. The staff were wonderful. The only teny tiny thing that nocked it down to superb rating was it was very limited breakfast menu. Despite that the breakfast was delish! Thank you so much will be back!

The whole stay was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. The staff couldn't be more helpful and made sure our stay exceeded all expectations. The food is great and the rooms are really comfortable and its in the perfect location for Windermere and Ambleside. We will definitely be staying again.

The room was decent and the bed was comfortable. All of the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was nice and the food portion sizes were good. Main courses were excellent (especially the sirloin steak and bass chowder). The Bar staff were all very good with excellent service.

We had a lovely stay and staff were very helpful. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and they were both delicious. Location is great for Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.

The cosy Christmas atmosphere, the facilities were all in good order. The hotel is just a short walk from Brockholes Centre and access to the lake .
