It was like being in Toad Hall , old windows and staircases and beams and lovely fires! The bedroom was cosy and decorated beautifully Staff are so lovely and nothing is a problem Dog friendly too so will know for next t time Amazing food !!!

Everything- comfy bed, superb room, gorgeous breakfast and huge choice. Delicious meals in restaurant. Welcoming log fires in bar and restaurants. Lovely and helpful staff. Great location.

Excellent accommodation. The bar is the most warm and welcoming hostelry. Great ales. Not a huge selection of meals available but lovely nonetheless

The entire place was just lovely and self sufficient. Loved the close proximity to the caves that the staff recommended to visit. The food and bar were also exceptional and my boys and I enjoyed it. Staff were professional and made sure everything was okay. Parking was easy too! Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night, added on to our original holiday in Windermere, but would definitely go back to badger bar. Everything was great ie room, breakfast etc and we even watched the badgers!,
