Brilliant location to everything that we wanted to do for our stay in the lakes. Andy is fantastic very friendly and makes a lovely breakfast, he even catered for my dietary requirements which is super appreciated.

I found Andy to be very helpful when I had to delay my booking and once I arrived I was greeted with my keys, shown to my room and informed of breakfast timings. I was out for the day with a walking group and was offered a car pass for the local football ground which saved me parking fees. Great breakfast and comfortable room.

The breakfast was sufficient. Vegetarian sausage was served on request. Fresh fruit and yogurt was great.

Great location, right in the middle of Ambleside, but still pretty quiet. Really friendly welcome, and good hot breakfast. Comfy bed and really clean room.

Great location in Ambleside. Good breakfast including hot food. Loved the sausages. Helpful Andy gave us advice. Free parking in nearby AFC with pass from B&B. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Could open the window.

Excellent host nothing was too much trouble. Buffet breakfast was great with lots of choice incl hot breakfast of sausage, scrambled egg, hash brown and beans as well as cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. Great central location and arranged free parking available just a short distance away

It is centrally located on a one way street. Our room overlooking the street was comfortable and quiet so slept really well. The owner was very friendly and helpful, wanting everyone to feel welcome. We would definitely return.
