I stayed here whilst walking the South Downs way.It was cosy,warm and had very friendly warm welcoming staff.I loved the open fires in the bar.The food was very good.I had dinner but needed to make an early start so didn’t stay for breakfast.The room and bed was very comfortable.

Warm welcome and very friendly staff. Amazing food, highly recommend a meal here. Lovely spot by the fire. Excellent location. Great view of the downs/night sky!

The place is pretty and the food was delicious. It is in the middle of a small beautiful village. The staff was really nice.

It's a very fine hotel. Good room, nice shared facilities and excellent food. Run by its owners, and that shows in the quality. I had the Sunday beef roast and it was probably the best I have had in a pub. Great breakfast but it isnt served until 9am so be aware of that if you want an early start.

I loved the interior decoration of the whole place. Very stylish and welcoming! The bedroom was spacious and cosy. The evening meal is a Suoer Food vegetarian salad was absolutely delicious and the waitresses were charming and accommodating!
