Hotel Overview

Villa Rina dates back to the 14th century and offers incredible views and excellent local cuisine. You'll appreciate the friendly service and comfortable guest room with your own balcony and free Wi-Fi.
Once home to a wealthy, local family, Villa Rina is set at the top of about 400 steps. It now welcomes guests to a tranquil oasis, surrounded by citrus groves.
The owners use vegetables and fruit grown in the villa's grounds, and the olive oil is made from their own olive trees.
Villa Rina is an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. It is close to a number of popular trekking and hiking paths where excursions are organised, particularly in summer and autumn.
The helpful team of staff will be delighted to offer useful tips and travel advice.

“A beautiful place and great stay for those wishing to avoid the crowds!”

The place is great in all its aspects, as is giving the possibility to really feel Amalfi coast. Location is great, the views are incredible. You do need to walk around 20-25 minutes to the centre of Amalfi, also the beach (big part of this is steps), but I would consider this to be more plus than a minus, as this is the way how the moving is happening in this coast. A bit distant location also allows you to avoid the tourist mass, which is a great privilage. The owner, Rina, is a brilliant woman, I would also highly reccomend not to miss her dinners (should be booked in advance). Every room has a nice terrace, all facing the sea.

A really lovely quiet place to stay on the Amalfi coast. Beautiful views to enjoy with a lovely breakfast each morning. Rina made you feel so welcome and right at home.

The view from Villa Rina is spectacular and one we will never forget. Rina was very welcoming and gave us great information about the locality. Before my visit I was apprehensive about the 226 steps up to the villa mentioned in reviews, but soon got used to it and enjoyed the exercise. The short walk into Amalfi is easier and there are spectacular views all the way. (See photo of town through little church archway on walk.) What I loved most about staying here was being surrounded by nature and lemon trees and the amazing view!!! . A very special place!!

The view was worth the climb. Everyone was attentive and kind. Rina taught us a lot about her villa and our dinner featured many delights from her garden. The room was spacious, the balcony gorgeous. The highlight of our trip to Italy.

View is Exceptional! Dinner was delicious with that home made flavour. Villa is big and relaxing. Rina is a great hostess. Stairs are quite a few, I would not recommend this location for an elder person or to anyone who has any physical limitations.

Very easy - everything! The view, the food, the accommodation itself and especially Rina! Rina made us feel very welcomed from the beginning which is why we decided to stay every night for dinner and ate the best food we had in a very long time. Our room was very clean, super tidy and had an amazing balcony. I would give Villa Rina more than 10 stars if I could and will definitely come back!

Fantastic location for the views and the town was accessible walking. Comfortable room with good wifi access. Good breakfast and home cooked, plentiful dinner optional.
