We received all that you would expect from a hotel in this price bracket - facilities, service etc. - but what we were not anticipating was the flair and attention to detail that had gone into its design, furniture, fittings, even music, that created a genuine atmosphere of mid-20th century chic. We were waiting for Tom Ripley to walk in at any moment. This made the experience very special.

Recently completely renovated, the building is immaculate, in a magnificent setting on the cliffs between Positano and Amalfi. The arrival into our room was just jaw-dropping with incredible views over the bay from our balcony, bedroom, sitting area and bathroom; I think is the same in all 45 rooms/suites. Staff in all areas - transportation, reception, concierge, restaurants (breakfast, beach club, fine dining), cleaning/servicing, were without exception welcoming, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient, clearly taking their lead from the highly visible management. The property is included amongst the ‘50 best’ hotels in the world this year, and from my admittedly limited experience, I would say this is entirely justified. It is of course not inexpensive, but if you are in a position to afford it, the experience is well worth it.

Absolutely the best luxury hotel on the Amalfi coast. I loved everything about it and it exceeded our expectations Architecture with incredible taste Super chic rooms Perfect location Incredible view Professional but informal service so much so that we never had to ask for anything . They anticipated any of our wishes . Breakfast is a unique experience to try at least once in a lifetime Food and restaurant 10 Perfect beach club The boats of the hotel are super chic A unique experience We want come back soon It was little dream

Borgo Santandrea is an exceptional hotel and is outstanding in all areas. The staff are warm and hospitable and the personal touches throughout our stay made us feel very special. Both the fine dining and traditional restaurant experiences are outrageously good and the superb breakfast served with breathtaking views offers a wonderful surprise! We were so well looked after at the super chic beach club and every part of the hotel offers utterly phenomenal views. We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of wine tasting with their wonderful sommelier and an amazing afternoon exploring the Amalfi coast on their boat Gozzo. The owner Maurizio was passionate and generous and there are many wonderful surprises to experience which i won’t spoil here. This is a truly remarkable hotel and was the highlight of our visit to the Amalfi Coast.

I can say a lot of great things about this place. This is really an experience. The owner Maurizio is in love with his job. He personally takes care of every guest. From the great dishes at Alici, to breakfast Ambassador’s friendliness this place is just something else. As a frequent traveller it is very easy to say that this place is by far the best hotel in the Amalfi coast.

Breakfast was excellent , plenty of variety, fresh fruits, great breads, cakes and plenty of healthy choices. Location was marvelous with outstanding ocean views. Friendly and extremely attentious staff.
