Room compact but comfortable with no noise from neighbouring rooms or the corridor.. Good filling breakfast, plenty of options for vegetarians. The hotel is directly opposite the Altenburg railway station which offers direct trains to Leipzig and Halle as well as towns in Thuringia. Good supermarket and bakers in the building next door.

Good breakfast, free parking. Hotel is very handy for the station but a 15 minute walk from the main part of the town, where most restaurants are located.

Everything was fine. Clean. Friendly. Easy to find. The stairs up to the front door are a bit of a hassle with heavy luggage, but manageable. Giant mirror!
