Luxury tents Overview

Situated in Alta, GLØD Aurora Canvas Dome has recently renovated accommodation 5.9 km from The Rock art of Alta. There is a private entrance at the luxury tent for the convenience of those who stay. - We do not have running water for drinking in the dome, but we provide each dome with locally sourced water in bottles. These are easily refilled in our main building, which is accessible 24 hrs. a day. If door is locked all keys for our domes, includes a digital key used for entering.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

What didn’t I like is a better question?! It was absolutely perfect, can not recommend more! The fireplace inside the dome was so cozy and perfect, the location was just stunning, warm beds and rugs and even slippers included! Your own toilet and we just did not want to leave our dome at all! The perfect perfect getaway! Breakfast included was a bonus and so delicious! All staff were exceptional!

location is just perfect, it is small, private, and the owner and his employees are beyond pleasant people; very friendly, heartful people. amazing stay, wish we could stay longer. but if we return to this part of Norway anytime in the future, i am sure we will definetly stay here again.

This is well designed and built small dome village. It was quiet and we could enjoy the atmosphere in the middle of the pine tree forest. The canvas dome was beautiful and very cozy. The air was fresh and relaxing to sleep in. The breakfast with extra coffee served in the dome was delicious and fresh. The shower and other facilities were well organized and accessible. We loved the place and wish we could have stayed longer and also tried out the activities Glød had to offer. We can highly recommend the place!
