We had the most wonderful stay - this hotel really has the wow factor! Beyond amazing views, delicious breakfast (and very accommodating for dietary requirements) and lovely room! The staff were so friendly and helpful, cannot fault the service. We will most definitely staying here next time we visit alonissos !

Great location in the entrance of the historic town, easy to access, incredible views from the sea view room, really lovely breakfast and shaded serene garden setting to enjoy it in the morning. Beautiful quiet design and lovely kind staff who were so obliging with any of our requests.

Fabulous location at entrance to old village but away from main road so really peaceful. On our first night we thought we might be the only guests & were quite surprised to see other people at breakfast the next morning! This is a beautiful architect designed hotel which is an oasis of tranquility with beautiful landscaping and a pretty jacuzzi which we seemed to be the only ones using. The breakfast buffet is good & my daughter who is coeliac was presented with a generous plate of breads & cakes each day. Valentin & Olivera are there at hand to help you and make a great team & are really lovely. We were welcomed on arrival by the owner Konstantina who is charming. There is a great restaurant, Astrofegia next door which we particularly loved and Pansolinos just down in the square which is old school Greek & serves huge portions though not all that speedily! Thea on the other side of the village has a wonderful terrace & the food is very good although I wasn't quite sure about the owner. We walked down to Megalos Mourtias beach a few times down the donkey path, had lunches at Meltemi though the other place on the beach there would be nicer in the early evening as it's the sunnier end of the beach. The walk down to Patitiri is also lovely and takes 30 minutes. Just don't wear flip flops! We loved our time here and would return to the Althea as is it pretty much perfect & immaculately clean.
