Breakfast is now a continental style, but to be honest to was lovely and there was a good choice, it was more than enough for us. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable bed, towels were lovely too in the bathroom. We spent the Easter weekend there and we were lucky to have 2 sunny days, and sat out on the balcony to read, which was a lovely peaceful thing to do.

The room was spotless, nicely decorated with a very comfy bed and quality bedding. Tea and coffee facilities were ample and topped up daily and the breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Super location with great views. Attic rooms have sloping ceilings but also offer best views. Residents lounge was large and comfortable with terrace with views. Breakfast was awesome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Discounted food and drinks in the local pub too.

Accommodation is spotless and of a very high standard. Our room 6 was huge and really lovely. Nice pictures and decor throughout. Big bathroom with a bath. Staff and host were absolutely lovely. Had a place to store the bikes too which was great Good choice for continental breakfast

The location was very good. It was quiet, a short walking distance to the tourist part of Almouth, the coast and river. The accommodation was in a lovely house with easy private parking. Breakfast was nice. There was a nice, spacious sitting room on the first floor and a balcony overlooking the river (see picture attached). We were given adjoining rooms on the 2nd floor (attic), one with attached bathroom and the other with the bathroom just outside. It was very private since there were only 2 rooms in the attic floor. The rooms were nicely furnished and had nice views from the attic windows. Everything was clean and tidy. Wifi was good. The hosts were friendly. The other guests in the lodging were quiet. Overall was a lovely experience. Would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

No hanging facilities in the top bathroom. A double hook on the door would be good.

Very nice room. Beautifully furnished. The towels, tea, biscuits etc. were replenished daily. Lovely view to the river. Outside seating if the weather allowed. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Paul gave us good advice on places to eat.
