stayed here a few times for work and its a nice place. Wed is 25% off food though and on this occasion it was REALLY busy.... no tables available for dinner so had to squeeze in where there was a spare hour. Registered for the 25% discount but this was not taken off at the bar... in the end it was too much hassle. Rooms are nice, and its clean.

Nice pub, room lovely but the shower was far too narrow for a man. Plus the shower head holder did not hold the shower and kept sliding down the rail. I had to tie it up to be able to use it.

Location was excellent, off the main road and very quiet. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We had evening meal and breakfast the next morning, both excellent 👌 Loved the character of the rooms.

The hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and a comfortable room with nice little touches. The only thing that let it down during our stay was the very long wait for food. We ordered dinner at quarter to 5 when the pub was empty besides drinkers, and still had to wait 45 minutes for it to appear, and even then part of what we ordered was missing! Breakfast was good though so maybe this was a one off. In general, we had a nice stay.
