“Charming hostel close to the sea”

Superfriendly staff (a volunteer) and guests. I felt home at once. - Superclean dorm and bathrooms. - Laidback mentality. - Centrally located. Everything is closeby: sea, beach, 'supermarcados' and 'restaurantes' ('tostada con tomate y jamón' is the classic breakfast here. The 'jamón' is top notch). - Free water. - Cooking stove, microwave and toaster available.

Stayed here before, but in a room with others , which was fine met some nice people, this time there was availability in double room which I opted for , in all good value and staff friendly and helpful,

The spacious family room was excellent value for money. The volunteer staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities in the hostel are far better than most hostels we've stayed in before. We found the location to be ideal: two minutes walk to the beach, the city centre reachable in foot or by bus from the stop outside and there's no shortage of places to eat and drink nearby. We also loved how quiet and chilled out it was.

Friendly, clean, close to the beach. Safe place for solo women travellers. Basic comfort and cheap. I love it but won't suit to everyone. They happened to discover bed bugs in the shared room with dormitories and took immediate actions to get rid of them. I really admire their capacity to handle that kind of situations. They really take hygiene seriously. I love La Pita concept, wish they had guesthouses all over Spain. They took into account my opinion of last year. They now hire volunteers who can speak english and is more welcoming and friendly. Plus they included turistic information displayed in the kitchen. Congrats, keep on going...
