This is an amazing hostel. The staff are helpful. I also saw that guy who everyone was talking about in the reviews. Doesn't seem so bad. We had beer together and he showed me some very good supermarkets near the hostel. The receptionist is an awesome lady and makes amazing breakfast. I recommend this place for all solo travelers.

Nice hostel getting some important things right such as screens for the bunk beds, each with their own lights and power sockets. Owners personable and accommodating.

Can't recommend this interhouse enough. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is different every time, and the house itself inside is very comfortable and ideal for simply hanging out. If you're going to stay in Almaty you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

A nice and quiet location. They're cleaning everyday. The breakfast is included into the price, although you might find the timing a bit inconvenient. The breakfast time is from 8am to 10am. For early riser not ok. Good value for money.

The lady was very helpful and friendly. Helped me with everything, cab, stay, cash change, she even offered some discount on check out. My room was tidy and clean, heater was good, the place and people overall were great in spite of language differences.

The location of this house was probably in the prime location or near them anyways, the neighbourhood was quiet and everyone kept to themselves, The property has a very nice verandah which can be used to park cars or take a stroll after dinner, the facilities in the hostel itself were amazing, they have a free breakfast included with your stay, and you can cook your own meal in the kitchen for lunch and dinner as well, the lady working there was very kind and helpful with the guests, overall I had a great time there, I stayed there for 13 days in total.
