The hostel was clean, quiet and in a good location. The bathrooms and toilets were maintained well and they have hot water which helps a lot especially during the cold winter. The pantry area was spacious and sufficient. They provide clean bedding, towels and lockers.

i love how the location of Doma Hostel was near all the attractions in the city! the staff were helpful. Price was reasonable. I felt cozy staying there!

The staff are really accommodating. I stayed with them on 2 different occasions. One of the staff kindly lent me her thick jacket when I signed up for canyon tour. They also let me leave my big backpack while I travel to Uzbekistan for a few days. The 10 (or 12?) bed dorm room was quite packed. so I decided to use a 4-bed dorm the second time and it was worth the extra 500 Tenge charge. The internet was working all throughout the property I didn’t have any issues. location wise I believe it’s around a KM or so, there’s a big park very close to the property. there’s also a big pantry where travellers can cook and eat. Thank you I enjoyed my stay!

Super handy location just far enough from the town centre to be quiet but close enough to walk to almost everything. Handy by taxi to/from airport!
