Great quiet location for visiting Lisbon. Located at the head of a pedestrianised street with several restaurants and bars leading down to the ferry with departures every 15 minutes across the river to Lisbon. Beautiful restored building with lovely garden/pool area to relax. Great communication with the hosts and the lovely Gabriela at the reception desk who was so helpful during our short stay. Easy parking nearby (Parque do Estacionmento) with a daily 'pay and display' ticket cost of 2.40 Euro/day (pay by coins or download their App). Or use the Bombeiros car park at 2 Euros/day or the garage car park directly opposite the apartments (pay at hotel reception 10 euros/day).

Great location 15 mins by boat to Lisbon centre, just next to nice restaurants street and store. And building its self is amazing. Thank you so much to hosts for the whole stay.

I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Lisbon/Almada. The location was perfect, the hotel was better than we'd imagined and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. Staying here was the highlight of our trip!

Ylvi met us even though it was midnight, she was very welcoming and went through everything we needed to know within the beautiful apartment and also send us a text with recommendations for restaurants, transport and places to visit. Amazing place to stay with everything you could want or need at you disposal

Lovely colonial house beautifully modernised and divided in comfortable apartments. Swimming pool and a balcony in each apartment gives an extra lovely touch and added comfort. Every thing is of excellent quality. Ylvi was super helpful in every way . Location lively with many restaurants just around the corner . We will go back !

Casa Rene is lovely and so is Ylvi! It's perfectly placed for the restaurants and bars of Almada, and a very short walk to the ferry to Cais do Sodre. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. You have an outdoor space with seating and the pool area is great, sitting amongst the citrus trees. Even the other guests were lovely!

We loved our stay at Casa René. Great location, quiet and relaxed atmosphere but close to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped, beautiful and very clean. The garden is beautiful, well kept with a good pool and nice sunbeds. On our travels we have never experienced such care and hospitality. Ylvi is one of a kind. Casa René is truly a hidden gem.

Location was great, very convenient for restaurants and ferry to the city. The overall apartment facilities were excellent and plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. It was great to have space to chill out in the apartment and the pool and garden to enjoy after a long day exploring Lisbon. Communication with Ylvi was brilliant, arranging our airport pick up and sending me lots of local restaurant recommendations and useful information.
