The houseboat was amazing and and it was a pleasant and wonderful journey. We had the trip of our life with Xandari. The captain Sony, Chief cook Sanjith and kannan make us feel like kings. We bought shrimps on the way, enjoyed a shirodhara massage and had a very relaxing peaceful trip. We will come back. 10 stars for the food! It was the best food we had. Leave your phone in you bag!

The breakfast was simple yet taste good. Well Prepared. The tour itself going through the backwaters was very fascinating. Most part of the boat was always kept clean.

Fantastic authentic looking boat (some you see are a glorified static caravan on a boat with a bit of yellow rope wrapped around it!!) Great staff Hotel quality food and quarters Hot water for showers Chef accommodated dairy & GF diet Stopping to buy Jumbo king tiger prawns from local fisherman was a fun extra

Food and service on board the houseboat was very homely and well prepared. Hosts and staff were courteous. The houseboat itself was very well maintained and clean.

The boat was super luxurious. We had an en suite bathroom. In our case we had the boat to ourselves and 3 staff to look after us. They were very friendly and helpful. There was a surprise canoe tour of the small waterways. The food was outstanding and the chef very responsive to our preferences. We were offered a stop to buy alcohol which they did for us - that was very welcome too. The scenery was adorable and whole experience really relaxing.

The food on the boat exceeded our expectations. The curry’s were delicious and plentiful. The staff on the boat were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the back waters of Alleppey.
