CLose to nature. Spectacular view. Really nice owner family. Breakfast delivered to your room is special. Lots of pets around to play with too. We will stay here again.

This was our second stay at Herdade Monte Do Sol, and it was as amazing as the first! Warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere made us fall in love with this place and its residents (birds, cats, dogs, peacocks, horses etc :). The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, it offers the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Villa is spacious, and beautifully designed. Terrace for morning coffee with sunrise view, and terrace with beautiful sunset ocean view was a favorite spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. Breakfast —fresh, local, and delicious, some croissants, pastry, buns, cheese and meet platter, jam, and coffee capsules. Breakfast is delivered a preacreed time. Herdade Monte Do Sol is located in the rural area, you would definitely need a car to go exploring the beaches, hiking trails, or charming local villages. We will definitely be back again—this place is a gem!

The place was a lovely location in a rural area, but yet close to all amenities and the beach! Everything felt clean and tidy, and was in nice order. They had a crib and high chair for our baby. Breakfast was served in the room and was delicious! Hosts were very friendly. The patio area had a hammock, swinging chair, and table and we loved it all! Our children enjoyed the birds and peacocks running around. Cleanliness is the most important thing when we travel and this place excelled!

We loved the facilities of our holiday home, the lovely swimming pool, the view, the delicious breakfast and especially the friendly animals! It was a perfect quiet location.

Fantastic country side with lots of space around and in the middle of the nature. Only very few people use the ranch so it is very quite. The family who runs it very nice and welcoming. The bedroom is the perfect size, bathroom has a great walk in shower and you can use the galery in case you are more than two. Breakfast is served in the room.

If you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing, this is it. Peacocks wandering around, lovely and helpful staff. It was a great break for us in the middle of a 3 week tour and Praia Arrafina (beach 5 mins down the road by car) is beautiful. Breakfasts were lovely.

The best view (sunset over the Atlantic, dark skies, and sunrise with the roosters) in the Algarve. Cool in the summer, mild in the winter. Great for surfers and hikers alike. The family owners treat every guest like one of their own with exquisite room service breakfast and careful attention to detail. Cats and dogs pass by to say hello before continuing about their own walks. I have stayed in several places and regions across the Algarve, and this is by far my favorite.
