Lovely one night stay at the pub, if you love low ceilings and beams this is ideal for you. Car park very close , don't forget to pay it's card only If I remember. Friendly bar staff , carried my bag upstairs as they are narrow and steep.

well the breakfast was ok and the dinner was lovely. Because we were having a cold buffet breakfast maybe its an idea to take old menus for breakfast telling us about a cooked breakfast just to manage expectation.

The breakfast was a basic one, toast, pastries, cereal, fruit tea and coffee (though this was a bit disappointing as in the bedroom it was with a coffee ‘bag’ and therefore was not very strong and I only drink black coffee. The twin room was quite small but comfortable with a good on-suite shower. Beds were comfortable but I would have liked an extra pillow. Also there was a rather nice ‘lounge’ next to our room where we could sit and chat. However my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely like to go again. The evening menu and meal were excellent. The entire Team were very friendly and welcoming
