A beautiful house and gardens . Great attention to detail and well decorated and comfortable and lovely rooms . The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere. The breakfasts were really good as were the evening meals .

Absolutely amazing breakfast - you order off a menu and there are many great options - one day I had smoked salmon, poached egg, avocado, and the other day I had a vegan option - both fantastic.

Staff were incredible. Cathy in the restaurant is always so accommodating, jovial & warm. Check in lady was great and Glenn/ Glynn (the gent at reception) totally fabulous, great local tips & advice & nothing too much bother. Really appreciated the upgrade & adore visiting. Gorgeous little town & I love coming back here.

Location is great. Room and bathroom very good. Was too hot in the room and we found it hard to sleep. In the morning we saw there was a fan which we had not noticed.

Excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful. Food is excellent. We have been here twice now it is our pre Christmas stop to exchange family presents and looks like becoming a regular routine. The village is friendly as well with an excellent village store and a selection of hostelries if you want a change

WE STAYED IN ROOM 3 AND 4 AND WE LOVED THE ROOMS AND SHARED BALCONY - THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE THE SERVICE WAS WARM AND FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. THE FREE MACAROONS WERE A NICE TOUCH
