We didn’t stay too long but the room was very clean and smelled really good. The view was amazing, the location is near most of the main attractions and the staff was very kind.

The view and ambience can't be beaten. Balconies offer superb sea views and the place feels like a spotless set for an Agatha Christie period film. Location is excellent if you want to stay in downtown Alex (Corniche, Library, museum within walking distance). Cool sea breeze all around. Plenty of amenities close by. Friendly staff speaks good English, eager to help out with anything. All feels like time travel to the heydays of the city. The hotel is on the 9th floor of the huge building with the patisserie (entry to your right around the corner, first house and up with the elevators).

Personally, I think it's very good value for money. The view was magnificent although the property is a little on the aged side, but the AC was working great, the water in the shower was warm with good pressure. I was staying for one night for work reasons and it wasn't planned, I was able to get a good night sleep, had a proper shower and a nice breakfast, the foul was especially tasty. I have no complains except that it was difficult to find parking at the time of check-in but when I returned after work at night it was very easy to park, and I parked basically under the property.

We had to come to Misr Hotel rather spontaneously, but the personal greeted us with a warm welcome even at night. They were extremely friendly and always glad to help. The breakfast was delicious (an authentic egyptian and vegetarian meal) and the view from the dining room was breathtaking. Our room was spacious with a big balcony and a private bathroom. It was cozy and homely, the AC worked perfectly fine and that was all we wished for. Would definitley recommend for a stay in Alexandria. It's only a 15 min footwalk from the great library and there are quite a lot good restaurants in the vicinity.

Location is great the sea view is panoramic, Staff were very friendly specially Mr Basim , really good bed mattress , the bathroom water pressure also great, air conditioning is perfect good breakfast and the value for money is satisfying

The hotel looked vintage and it felt that you went back my time. The breakfast was okay, but potions were small with no coffee. The staff were nice and respectful. The cafeteria has a nice view.

Location is fantastic. Sea view.. Near resturants. ATM. Supermarket. Many markets.. beauty centers and many other services.. and few feets away from Tram station.
